I used this on cream-colored frosting to add some gold color to cupcakes. I didn't want to make "gold" frosting, because it usually turns out more dark-yellow/mustard than gold. This worked fine, but I think it would work better on fondant. This spray isn't really a "spray" in the sense that it is gold powder, not liquid. You are literally pumping out a very fine powder - which even makes a "cloud" in the air if you "pump" it out too fast (much like if you dump powdered sugar into a bowl all at once.) It also is more of a shimmery matte gold than a shiny gold. Still, it did look gold. I included a couple photos, but it is difficult to see this spray in them.
