Having accidentally stumbled across the orange version, (see below), tried it and absolutely LOVED it - go read my review if you don't believe me! - I then decided to give this black variety a go. Result: I have to admit, I was (slightly) disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it's good - nice smell, long lasting - but, after setting the bar so high with its stable-mate, this one was always going to have to be something very special indeed to come out on top. And, I'm afraid, it doesn't quite manage it. Orange has a really sweet, spicy scent; it smells more expensive than it is. Black, well, without doing it too much of a disservice, the closest comparison I can make is with a really good variety of Right Guard or Sure - you know, that 'clinical', 'chemically' scent that tells you - and others! - PRECISELY what it is you're wearing.To sum up, then: for me, both varieties are good - nice scent, not too expensive, a little bit on the exclusive side - and I will be sticking with the brand; but this black variety is for work, whilst its orange counterpart is more your evening out material. Both worth having, without a doubt, for use depending on the occasion.Recommended, then, to all you middle-aged dads out there. Give 'em a try. Go on. You won't regret it.
