This is my second purchase of this perfume. I love the soft scent, It is subtle but best of all, stays fresh all day. The bottle is shaped like a star/Angel, is blue & unusual. It’s good value for the price.I’m really love this perfumeGREAT!My intention is not to make an incorrect or unfair statement. I do not wear perfume every day, and it has taken me months to come to this conclusion. Honestly, I did not remember where I purchased this product, and a search on Amazon did not bring up any results until tonight - by accident when I was searching for something else - so I am far past the return window. I have worn Angel perfume for over 20 years. I have purchased directly from Thierry-Mugler a couple of times and am part of their little "club," so also receive samples of their various fragrances. I have a year-old sample of their Angel body lotion; it has been open all this time (I use it rarely and sparingly for special occasions) and it smells MUCH more authentic and is extremely long-lasting -- as all real Angel products do, in my experience. Since I purchased this product from Amazon, it has slowly dawned on me that -- although it was packaged in what seems to be an actual Angel box -- the fragrance is not nearly as vibrant as the real thing. It fades extremely fast. The first time I tried Angel, I spritzed a very small amount on my wrist. I was wearing a sweater (that I rarely wore) at the time; the fragrance lasted and lasted for months, until it was finally time to launder the sweater. Even after washing, a hint of Angel was still noticeable. I am SO disappointed -- especially in myself for not realizing this sooner. I do not wish to disparage any company, and I will not say definitively; but I will say that I BELIEVE this product is not authentic Thierry-Mugler's Angel perfume. Given the price, I guess I should have known. Maybe it's a bad batch...I don't know. Almost none of my bottle has been used. If anyone wishes me to mail/return it, I will consider doing so. No smell and colour is not right either!I absolutely LOVE this fragrance... but then again I love ALL the Thierry Mugler fragrances - they are just perfect for me. I love the uniqueness of the beautiful star shaped bottle & the fragrance is (almost) drinkable! I tend to always go for fragrances with similar ingredients, not purposely but they must just suit my skin & my nose! This is filled with wonder - Gourmond, Caramel, Honey, Patchouli (my favourite), Vanilla... Absolutely addictive & a little Star of Wonder...A truly unusual and intoxicating perfume. As a child of the 60s, I find it is reminiscent of patchouli oil, which we all used back then, yet it is far more subtle, even unique, due to the other fragrant tones mixed with it. I use it in the day or evening. It retains its presence far longer than many similarly-priced fragrances, which I like. Angel is also unlike so many other perfumes on sale today. It is beautifully packaged and one feels part of an elite group of women simply by owning it! A modern,powerful fragrance which lingers delightfully on your body. I'd advise anyone of an independent and individual temperament to try it because I'm sure they'd feel the same as I do about it.I couldn't wait for it to arrive it has got a strong smell at first but it does mellow ,I have had a few comments about how nice it smells.I dont believe the product is genuine. I have worn this scent for 20 years, and am really disappointed. Packaging is just slightly off, and colour of the perfume is wrong. Update, made the mistake of buying the same product a year later, and still the scent is wrong. Having said that, I recently bought something from the Mugler website direct, and also found the scent wrong. Perhaps they have changed the formula of Angel, which would be really disappointing, as it's my signature scent and I love it
