I added this product into my styling routine after my hair stylist used it on me and I loved the results. It works WONDERS for fine/flat hair, but you do need to know how to apply it and at what step in your styling routine you should use it, in order to get the results you want. This product works the same for me as it did when the stylist used it at the salon, so I just wanted to address some of the bad reviews I saw and share how I apply the product. For me, it works much better when used BEFORE styling, not after. To those who have said it's fake because the bottle says "hair spray" vs. "texturizing spray" - they're both real. Kevin Murphy just changed their packaging at some point so some bottles are older. You can use it for both purposes. To those who have said it's sticky or weighs your hair down, you may be 1. holding the bottle too close to your head when you spray, 2. spraying too much in general, 3. spraying it too late in your styling routine (as in, at the very end), or 4. not distributing it through your hair well enough.I have very fine, flat, shoulder length hair. It used to NEVER hold a style for more than a few hours. Here is how my stylist used the product on me, which I copy on myself at home:After my stylist washed my hair, she applied a small amount of Oribe shine cream to the middle and ends while it was damp. She then started to blow out my hair with a blow dryer and round brush. When my hair was mostly dry, but *STILL SLIGHTLY DAMP*, she sprayed the Anti Gravity Spray, lifting up sections of my hair and letting them fall while spritzing product around the crown of my head. She held the bottle probably about 10 inches away from my hair while spraying. She didn't spray directly on my roots, nor around the middle or ends. She then finished drying my hair with the round brush, which distributed the product evenly, provided volume around my crown, and helped create hold for curling. You shouldn't feel any stickiness or any excessive pulling when you brush your hair after spraying the product-- if that happens, you've either used too much or maybe let it set for too long. My stylist curled my hair and finished by spraying Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray all over (another incredible product for fine/flat hair). My hair lasts for 2-3 days when done this way, which I know is not the longest, but it's a HUGE improvement from before. I highly recommend learning how to blow out your hair, I found it to be pretty easy to learn and it helps me a ton with both volume and preventing my roots from getting greasy as quickly. If you properly distribute the product through your hair and don't use too much, it should be soft with some volume up top that lasts a few days. First photo is first day curls. Second and third photos are second day curls/waves before touching up.I hope this helps!I have very fine hair and just about Anything I use on it weighs it down. Except Anti-Gravity! I spray it on lightly after my shower and brush, then again after it’s styled. It’s great and doesn’t make you feel like you’re wearing a helmet! Super manageable. Highly recommend!I have bought this very same product elsewhere and lot more expensive. The scent of this spray is so good…and it works well on my fine hair.Great product. My hairdresser used this product on my wedding day and it was great. I bought some afterward but have found it to be sticky. I have thick long hair, so I can’t tell if I’m using too much, but for me it is a must to wash the next day. My mom however, has longer and thicker and courser hair than me, and this is perfect for her. She doesn’t have the sticky after affect and her hair retains the style, though more relaxed, for days afterward. She is more conservative in all things than i am, so my guess is that I am using too much and she is using the right amount. Looking forward to trying it more.At least 1/5 leaked inside shrink wrap. Lid had not been screwed on tight. Not seeing a way to receive partial credit from 3rd-party seller.I bought this by mistake from my stylist and I love it. It was one of those good mistakes, I already have thick hair, but I had some hair in the crown of my head fall out from a prescription I took for a short time and hair loss was one of the side effects. Since I had bought it I figured I might as well try it out. Wow, what a difference it made. I sprayed it near the roots of my hair and a little on my hair before putting anything else in my hair. Then I used my other hair products, blow dried my hair using a diffuser, focusing on keeping my hair together on my crown of my head. You could not even tell my hair was thin like before I used it. I could honestly see if you had thin hair this would be great to use. I repurchased it from Amazon at a much better price. I still use it even though my hair is growing back, but it just makes the crown of my hair look really nice and full.A bit pricey. I was looking for something less toxic than conventional hairspray. Good volume but not as much holding power.
